The RVDV is very similar to the Iklwa and comes from the opposite side of the Drakensberg mountains near the Free State province. This plant grows spear shaped buds that are fairly compact and chunky for wild sativa. She grows aggressively and throws out many side branches. Dinner plate sized leaves with up to 13 blades are not uncommon.
The buds are lime green and packed with trichomes. RVDV has a flower time of around 9 to 10 weeks but often she will be at peak potency closer to 9 weeks. Scents are best described as pine, menthol and very often floral. She has great resistance to mould, drought, high temperatures as well as intense wind speeds.
The high is instant and hard hitting. Consumers report feeling euphoric and absolutely clear in the head. Perfect for a wake and bake session or just before going on a hike outdoors.
The comedown does not leave the consumer feeling tired or foggy in the head. This strain can be a little fast for people unfamiliar with sativa effects.
